Every medical treatment, including TherMatrx thermo therapy has side effects. Doctors at hospitals and clinics have studied the TherMatrx BPH treatment. The side effects reported from these clinical studies are listed below.

Possible Side Effects

• Blood in the urine (Hematuria)
• Blood in the sperm (Hematospermia)
• Urinary retention (unable to pass urine from the bladder)
• Bladder spasm or urgency (cramping in the bladder or an urgent need to urinate)
• Irritation of the urinary tract (frequent urination, burning sensation)
• A feeling of warmth or discomfort in the bladder, urethra or rectum

In clinical studies on the TherMatrx treatment system, most patients did not experience any side effects. The majority of the side effects were reported within days after the treatment and disappeared shortly thereafter without any treatment. If at any time you are concerned about any side effect you may be experiencing, do not hesitate to contact your doctor.

Most patients do not experience side effects, and the majority of side effects observed in clinical studies were resolved within days after treatment and disappeared shortly thereafter on their own. ¹
