Elevate is a minimally invasive, comprehensive solution to treat apical and posterior defects. Elevate is a total transvaginal approach with no external incisions. Using a anatomically designed needle and self-fixating tips, Elevate allows for safe, simple and precise mesh placement in the sacrospinous ligament through a single vaginal incision.
Elevate® Apical and Posterior allows for customization with either a synthetic or biologic graft material depending on the needs of the patient.
Features and Benefits
Anatomically designed needle
Slim 2.4mm needle is designed to minimize tissue trauma. The needle also incorporates a protective sheath with depth limiting feature and is designed to allow tactile feedback for safe and accurate placement in the sacrospinous ligament.
Needle is easy to deploy and requires a low insertion force into the sacrospinous ligament. This creates a smooth engagement and disengagement of mesh to needle, which simplifies the procedure and minimizes the potential for tissue trauma.
Self-fixating tips
Small, integrated self-fixating tips provide strong holding force and are designed to minimize tissue trauma. The tips are anchored in the sacrospinous ligament and prevent mesh migration during initial tissue fixation and ingrowth.
Fixating arms
Arms provide easy mesh placement and interoperative tensioning to facilitate accurate mesh placement in order to achieve prolapse correction. Arms also allow for efficient tensioning and adjustment to individual anatomies.
Choice of Graft Material
Elevate Apical and Posterior allows you the choice of synthetic or biologic graft material depending on the needs of your patient.
AMS' IntePro Lite is a synthetic mesh that allows maximum coverage of both apical and posterior areas. It is the same proven polypropylene mesh that is used in the Apogee and Perigee prolapse repair systems.
AMS' InteXen LP™ is a biologic mesh that is derived from animal origin. InteXen LP is a soft, pliable biomaterial that conforms to patient anatomy.
