The DURA IITM positionable prosthesis is implanted within the two corporal bodies of the penis from the ischial tuberosity (the crus) to the mid-glans.

To prepare for intercourse, the patient lifts the penis, making the rods as straight as possible. To better conceal the erection during everyday activities, the prosthesis is bent down.
