DESD Patient Profile It
has been 23 years since Richard's spinal cord injury. In recent years,
he began having problems with bladder infections which occurred because
his bladder wasn't emptying completely.
One of Richard's options
was a sphincterotomy, but he decided instead on the UroLume stent
because the procedure is reversible and doesn't destroy tissue. Richard
was impressed with the quickness of the procedure and recovery time, and
he recommends UroLume for other men in his situation.
