Patient Selection

There are several surgical procedures available for correcting urethral hypermobility and intrinsic sphincter deficiency (ISD) in women. Each procedure has specific features that can be appropriate to the individual patient.

The In-FastTM Ultra Sling System is indicated for:

  • Patients with stress urinary incontinence due to urethral hypermobility and/or ISD

The In-Fast Ultra Sling System is contraindicated for patients with:

  • Pubic bone deformation or other pathological conditions of the bone, such as severe osteoporosis, which would impair secure bone screw fixation
  • Blood coagulation disorders
  • Compromised immune system
  • Urinary tract or vaginal infections
  • Previous or active osteomyelitis
  • Renal insufficiency and upper urinary tract relative obstruction
  • Future pregnancy plans
