ApogeeTM Vaginal Vault Prolapse Repair System ApogeeTM is a simplified, tension-free system that allows surgeons to address vaginal vault repair. The addition of InteXenTM or InteProTM enables enterocele or rectocele repair.
Using a minimally invasive, standardized approach, Apogee is designed to restore patient anatomy and normal function. Placement of the Apogee mesh allows the vaginal apex to be suspended at the level of ischial spine, replicating a more natural axis.
The vault prolapse repair can be combined with InteXen or IntePro for enterocele and rectocele repairs.
Features & Benefits
Standardized Approach The Apogee System provides a repeatable procedure that accommodates any patient. It is designed to restore normal vaginal anatomy with a transvaginal (versus open abdominal) approach.
Narrow Profile Needles Thin profile needles provide an optimized curve and pass through a zone of safety along the lateral pelvic sidewalls away from neurovascular or visceral bodies.
Pre-Cut Grafts InteXen porcine dermis or IntePro polypropylene mesh are available for posterior wall repairs. The standard shape can be trimmed for individual patient pathologies.
Innovative Needle Tip Connectors and Removable Plastic Sheaths Mesh arms feature needle tip connectors and removable plastic sheaths for smooth passage through fascia, and tension-free adjustment. The mesh is the same polypropylene tape mesh used in SPARCTM, MonarcTM and BioArcTM.
Apogee offers these benefits to you and your patients:
- Comprehensive, minimally invasive solution—Designed to restore normal anatomy. When combined with other graft material—InteXen or IntePro—posterior wall repairs can be made.
- Customizable—Choose graft material based on patient and physician preferences and trim for patient pathologies.
- Time efficient—Minimize operating room prep time with Apogee's ready-to-implant materials. Apogee's standardized approach is designed to reduce time-consuming procedure variations.
