Overview

MiniArc Precise Sling is the next generation from the MiniArc Sling Family; now with even more precise delivery and control. It is built on the proven success of the original MiniArc Sling System that treats female stress urinary incontinence.

MiniArc Precise Sling

MiniArc Precise Sling has the same safety profile as the original MiniArc and is also designed to be minimally invasive and minimize the risk of tissue trauma and bleeding. It features the same proven mesh used in over 750,000 procedures. The MiniArc Precise System is designed with a fixed needle to mesh connection. This fixed connection provides precise placement and control, providing the confidence to deliver proper tensioning.

Features and Benefits

The Needle

The MiniArc Precise System employs one slim 2.3mm needle designed to minimize tissue trauma and help promote less dissection. A fixed needle to sling tip connection prevents mesh rotation and disengagement until the slider mechanism is depressed. During disengagement the needle retracts into the needle shaft to help deliver proper tensioning. With no additional advancement, where you place it is where it stays.

Self-Fixating Tips

Small, integrated self-fixating tips provide significant holding force without pain and helps prevent migration during initial tissue fixation and ingrowth. The MiniArc Precise sling can withhold 5.75 lbs of pull-out force upon placement, providing ample support for the typical pelvic floor event of 1.3 lbs.

The Mesh

MiniArc Precise Sling utilizes American Medical System's (AMS) proven Type 1 polypropylene mesh with a midline centering mark that promotes accurate placement under the urethra. AMS mesh facilitates healing and promotes tissue integration. This is the same mesh used in more than 750,000 MiniArc, Monarc® and SPARC® implants.
